Natural Gas Processing & Conditioning

Code: Technical

Duration: 4 Days

Location: Doha

Fee: QAR 11,000

Course Overview

Natural gas, being a chemical feedstock and high-quality fuel, plays a key role in the industrial sector on a global scale. Raw natural gas extracted from wells always requires conditioning and processing before transportation to the end-users. Gas conditioning and Processing is a stepwise industrial process to purify raw natural gas from contaminants such as water, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, and any higher molecular weight hydrocarbons. This training course will empower you with an up-to-date overview, concepts, and techniques about gas conditioning and processing in the oil and gas industry. You will acquire the basic concepts regarding the gas conditioning and processing necessary to specify, design, and handle gas production facilities. Through this course, you would acquire the skills and capabilities to be practical in the oil and gas sector, thus broadening avenues for greater opportunities leading to career growth.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the trainees will be aware and understanding of the following:

  • Complete understanding and detailed information about Gas processing and conditioning and plant operations safety
  • Greater understanding and knowledge to review the equipment and operating conditions for the process. Additionally, the ability to identify any abnormal operating condition for the Gas Conditioning and Processing is developed
  • Improved exposure and confidence to check existing documentation of one’s organisation to ensure that these adhere to the required standards of safety and operation
  • Greater foresight to fight possible risks that could compromise safety
  • Increased knowledge and confidence to train other professionals on the scope and limitations of Gas Conditioning and Processing
  • A sense of pride from contributing to organisational credibility and development through enhanced operational safety and efficiency
  • Greater potential to manage organisational costs by maintaining high levels of safety and preventing financial losses
  • Better understanding and exposure to working with advanced technology
  • Achievement of operational excellence and reduction in occupational hazards
  • In-depth understanding of Natural Gas compression, Acid-Gas treatment, Dehydration, Transport, and Storage
  • Ability to train others on the key processes and regulations of the Gas Conditioning and Processes
