Course Overview

Communication skill is ranked as the number one skills for leadership.  Employees in leadership positions are expected to be highly competent at listening to ideas, correctly interpreting what is being communicated, presenting ideas, giving clear directions, and explaining procedures, results, and missions.  In today’s flatter, more collaborative organizational structures, employees are constantly under the pressure to translate innovative ideas into actions quickly, they must expand their repertoire of communication and leadership skills.

Effective communication skills are neither an inherited ability nor an elaborate art form; it is a learned skill developed through planning and practice.  Effective communication skills lubricate the organization’s operations, foster collaboration, initiatives, involvements, and commitments from others.  It has the ability to attract others to be constructive and productive, especially when working in teams or with customers.
